Hi!
It is good to be here. I have missed forums.

I live in suburban Columbus, Ohio with my husband of fourteen years. We have a 9 year old boxer-beagle mix and recently lost my 21 year old cat. I am retired from my long-time government job and have been working in retail sales. I will be starting a contract job for the government in a few weeks.

Welcome to Tower of Babble! We also missed forums.

I'm so sorry about your cat. It's hard losing pets, but 21 years! This gives me hope for my 15 year old cat. I know I'm going to lose it when she goes anyway though.

How is Ohio? I honestly know nothing about the state. I have a US map that I've been crossing states off of so when my husband retires we have it narrowed down.

Well, it is pretty cold here right now but we should be getting better weather soon with spring approaching.

Welcome!

You should be getting spring pretty soon. My mom lived in Michigan and we could figure she'd see her daffodils about 6 weeks after I see mine in the South. And mine have been up for a few weeks, so it shouldn't be long. :)
