Sorry about the downtime this morning, but things are up and running.

Please let us know if you see anything weird. This was a minor update so there shouldn't be any obvious changes.

Have you tried clicking on it? It should appear with an asterisk and not actually load the style if you don't have permission. We're working with the developer to see about hiding it completely if you're not supposed to use it.

Yeah, it won't let me. Thing is, I was already on Grassy Knoll the whole time and the white theme looked similar for a sec to Castle Anthrax. You guys are good.

Well, Grassy Knoll was my first attempt at a light theme, so yeah they are kind similar.

But we sort of need a theme to do testing on where it won't disturb other people, so we have it under wraps for now.

Some single posts I had already seen showed up as unread again:
"Feds put 9 lenders on notice ..." and "6 US soldiers in mountain warfare training hit by avalanche".

I'm curious if you considered using phpBB? If you looked, I presume phpBB's lack of "like" function was a deal-breaker. Was there anything else needed to make it work for you? I'm asking, because I use phpBB myself, have written the wordcount extension for it, and am considering making a "like" extension.

Thank you for mentioning. This is actually unrelated to the upgrade. We discovered that posts generated in the staff forums and then moved to the public forums were being included in the "marked as read" function by members. This means that if a member marked forums as read and a thread that was waiting in the staff forums got moved out, that member would not see it when they clicked on new posts. We've installed an add on that allows us to change the date and time for these threads.

phpBB would have been my choice for a free software. It's been around for ages and is well-known and is probably pretty stable. Our main reason was that Xenforo was created by the programmers who worked on vBulletin before that company got bought and ruined by another company. I really liked vBulletin's functionality back in the day, but it was all drama when they released vB 4 and eventually the smart guys got ousted. Basically, I followed the programmers I already liked to their new product.

We did consider phpBB, but sometimes you get what you pay for, and we decided support if we needed it was more important. The annual license fee really isn't that much. Since I hardly manage the movie theater anymore, this is my entertainment budget lol
